Sharing The Aloha Links 2-22

I had two posts this week that dealt with the American Dream and being poor in America”
I asked Why Try If The American Dream Is Dead and
What It Means To Be Poor In America

PF community is unlike any others as so many people are taking responsibility for their actions. The American Dream isn’t dead, it’s changed. Having a poor and victim mindset will always be the source of all your problems. To stick with the theme of achieving the American Dream here are some great posts:

Fi Fighter wrote an excellent article on why he invests in turnkey properties. It amazes when people who have no idea about real estate decide that they want to flip houses, which is very difficult and a money pit. Buy what you know, invest in turnkey first before you take on difficult projects.

Jason at Dividend Mantra posted on You Can’t Change People, So Be The Change You Wish To See. An inspiring post of money mistakes he made and the influence of his childhood upbringing.

1500 Days had an Escalade Tirade about how his sister measures success by the wasteful spending of an Escalade. The beauty of YOLO in your finances.

Ryan at Impersonal Finance posted You Vs. The Economy about self reliance and doing what is needed to survive and get ahead. You are the only reason why things happen.

J at Budgets Are Sexy share with us your PF score, a different way on how to benchmark where you’re at on your road to financial independence. Go over, take the quiz and find your score to see where you stand.

I’d like to thank Brick by Brick Investing, Young Adult Money,Dividend Mantra,Frugal Farmer, Impersonal Finance and BudgetAndTheBeach for including my posts.

As always see you this week.
